Q: What do people wear to a service at Faith?
A: At our gatherings you will see that people wear anything from traditional Sunday dress (suits and dresses) to business casual to more casual (jeans and t-shirts). Come worship the Lord with us - that is the main thing.
Q: Do you have a nursery?
A: Yes, we do have a staffed nursery for our services. Our nursery is open to children up to the age of 4. Parents are also welcome to keep their children with them.
Q: Do you have Sunday School classes for all ages?
A: Yes, we have classes for children ages 2 through adults. Currently, our children Sunday School classes all use Answers in Genesis curriculum. The adults meet in the auditorium for a time of Bible study and discussion.
Q: What's available for my children?
A: Truth Trackers is for children ages 4 through 6th grade and meets on Wednesdays from 7-8 pm. Truth tracker's uses Bible memory, Bible devotions, and Bible lessons to help children lock in truth and live out faith.
Our teen group meets on Wednesdays at 7 pm. They also have a monthly area-wide youth activity hosted by an area church nearby (during school months).
Q: What Bible version do you use?
A: Our "pew Bible" is the King James version. This is what we preach and teach from. Often people have other versions in our services that they use.
Q: What is the music like at Faith?
A: We mostly sing out of the Majesty hymnal for our song selections. We do sing other songs (old and new) that are not in the Majesty hymnal. We desire to have music that 1) pleases and worships the Lord in truth, 2) strengthens the saints, and 3) draws the lost to a relationship with Jesus (in that order). Sometimes we have a prepared music number where soloists or small groups will minister in a special way with their musical talents.
Q: What is the preaching and teaching like at Faith?
A: Most of the Bible preaching/teaching is expository in nature. That is, the pulpit ministry of the church is generally going through a book of the Bible little by little and allowing the text of the Word of God to bring up the themes for life application. At times, we will do specific Bible studies of certain topics, Bible characters, or themes found in the Word of God. In all the preaching and teaching at Faith we seek to make the Word of God applicable to life experiences we are facing right now. Please feel free to visit our sermon page for recent sermons.
Q: Are there service opportunities for me and my family?
A: We desire for everyone to use their God-given talents for the Lord. There are many ways that people serve at Faith - from our children's teams to the bus team to the jail and grounds teams. Many of our service opportunities are for members only, but some are not. We desire to live up to the motto: "Every member a minister."
